I'm flying this december and I got a C class seat booked on the SFO-HKG-SIN flight..

I want to upgrade from C to F using my Krisflyer Miles, but I can't open my itinerary over the internet to use the extra 15% mileage discount. I'm dreading if I'm calling Krisflyer CS, they're going to say that they can't do anything on giving me the extra 15%..

So what should I do? or more appropriately, how can I effectively persuade SQ's CS to give me the extra 15% discount?

I called them once asking about how many miles are required, and their answer is textbook. I asked them again regarding why I can't open my itineraries online and they started to point their fingers on Silk Air..

Please help me resolve this "miniscule" problem..

Thanks in advance!

No, but until recently I can still open my itinerary and I have the upgrade option available to me...

Got another question, related to topic:

Would you upgrade to F for 100K miles, or seat yourself on Row 11 seat on a 77W?

It seems to be the nicest row on all the aircraft, any different opinions?

Paying 100K to upgrade to F from Row 11 on a 77W is an effing waste of miles, imho.

Don't do it - you sleep most of the first leg and a seat in row 11 is just as comfortable.

Thanks for your input.. I've canceled my upgrade and decided to keep Row 11.. And hopefully on the way back, I can get Row 11 again.

I've never tried C in 77W, is it true that the seat pitch is much shorter than those on the A345s?

Save the 100k miles and just buy a few bottles of krug to make you whole. ;)

Couldn't agree more.. :D

I'm still wondering though whether or not the seat pitch (not width) is actually longer on the A345 than on the 77W, can anyone confirm that?
