Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Business saver award help please

Hi all,

Maybe you can help..

I want to book an award seat - one way - from somewhere in Australia (ideally Brisbane where I am right now), back to somewhere in europe (ideally the UK, but anwhere will do). I want to travel between the 10th and 18th of December.

It needs to be a business saver award, as I only have 60000 points. (unless u can think of an alternative).

Now, there was availability from Brisbane to Amsterdam, and I left it a day and its gone....

I know some of you have access to methods to check availability etc, can you help..

FYI, I now have no status with Singapore or Star Alliance, so whilst a waitlist is a possibility I am not keen.

Hi, yes I plan to purchase the small number of points which I am missing. I need to do something now, as about 40000 of the points are due to expire early next year (and have already been extended).

I am unsure if you can split the dates on a saver award ?.
Also, with a final destination of London, is there anything else out there?

Any ideas appreciated.

This itinerary no good as oneway saver awards do not allow stopovers.

I would recommend waitlisting by choosing a date you know BNE-SIN is available, for example take 13 Dec BNE-SIN and waitlist on same day SIN-MAN, and couple this with close monitoring of destinations.

As far as I know you can only redeem saver awards to the following EU destinations:

AMS
MAN
CPH
ATH?
and
FRA (I found FRA is very hard to get) and the other oK - so without the help of someone who can look at them all on one screen the next best bet is for you to check all dates in the range to all destinations..

Yes at SQ's discretion not yours I bet! 3 days (as per above) probably isn't going to cut it though.
