Flying Blue (Air France & KLM) - Keeping klm points live

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help. I have 235,000 air miles, and to keep these valid I have had to book a flight, before the end of October. Does anyone know if I have to actually take the flight or is it enough to have booked and paid for it. I booked a late afternoon flight to Ams and an early return the next day, I was just going to hang around in the airport. It seems silly I know but think its worth it as I hope to use the points next year for a nice holiday.

You must take the flight and give your FB number on the BP so the flight is credited to your account.

There will be plenty of time to go to the city and make use of your time, you could even pull an all-nighter if you didn't want to pay for a hotel.
