front to back usually, although I have seen a 'meet in the middle' type scenario too.

Not as straightforward as front to back ... on a 346 there are three cabin crew taking orders, two will start from the front and one half way down one side, then one of the front people will cross over to the other side. On a 747 there are two cc upstairs and three downstairs so spread across the A, B and C cabins working each front to back or in sections.

Try reading again, the cabin is zoned into four parts and each, with two half way down, are run front to back. If you think that means front to back for all ... well, please carry on!
