Y-fare overseas from Germany including biz lounge in CPH/ARN
http://www.flysas.com/de/de/Angebote/EconomyExtra/

Sadly CPH lounge staff wasn't aware of this a didn't allow me in.
I asked if they could check this from flysas.de but they refused even have a look.

Well sad... But not special, the dragon at the lounge in Copenhagen dont know anything and is to stubborn to even try to look at the problem. If I were you, I would file a complain...

Where does it say you can use the biz lounge?

If I were you, I would just enter the lounge.

Buying a ticket in economy extra is not supposed to give you lounge access.
But indeed it says so in the box next to € 995. Strange! I wonder if somebody in Germany made a mistake when writing that ad.

However it is correct you are eligible for business class check-in flying economy extra.

Right next to the € 995 in the box, marked with RED

I've seen it on the UK site too. Doubt it's an error, most likely a short promo.

If so I think they should have handed out lounge passes or something similar.
The lounge matrons will only see a Y-boarding pass and will deny access based on that.

If they are indeed running a special campaign that gives a certain fare (B in this case) lounge access at the home hub they should obviously inform the lounge staff accordingly. Canīt really be the responsability of the pax unless there is a special instruction given at time of booking (to bring a print out etc)...

It is a promo and the lounge access is granted until the end of the year. They have the same offer on their Estonian Website...

Since SAS is offering this promo, has anyone actually been granted lounge access with a B class ticket? I will be flying on December 20th on a B ticket and would very much like to check out the lounge for an hour or so. As I booked my ticket over the summer, it was not booked through this "promo," but how would they even distinguish one B class ticket from another?

That was pretty much my point as well. On the standard SAS boarding passes it says class of travel and booking class, but it does not mention farebasis.
With the endless number of fares available I can't see either how they can distinguish one B-fare from another unless they provide lounge passes/vouchers or something similar to those who booked the promo...
