Hi all
Just book with Flying Blue an Award tickets from US to S. America and back.
2 flights in this reservation is Delta and 2 flight with Copa. All reservation was booked in Business class.

The Delta site shows reservation in business, but Copa's site shows nothing.

AF voucher states travel class E on Copa , Called service center to check and they promised that E class as award in Copa is business class and not an economy.
Checkmytrip.com states that I have an economy resticted reservation for this service.

Is anyone can tell me what is E class of award booking on Copa?

Is it truely business class or I should call again?

thank you

Alexander

If I remember correctly, E class fares on Copa earns zero miles:eek:
I might be wrong, but one other point worth mentioning, I think Copa are no longer part of Skyteam by the end of this month...I recall reading earlier this year that they and Continental were dropping skyteam.

All bookings made before end of October will be honored by Conti/Copa/AeroRepublica for 1 year.
It is no problem.

E class earns 0 miles as it is an AWARD class and awards earn no miles, that;s easy...

Found info on Aeroflot website: award booking class E for Copa means business class, so at least it is possible, but still your suggestions are welcome

Nothing to worry about. I can confirm that E is the booking class CM uses for award travel in their business cabin (Clase Ejecutiva).

Their website doesn't show your booking because it's not working properly!!! Since they revamped their website about a month ago, the only bookings/e-tickets that one can see are the ones made on the CM website itself.

The old website was much better, as one could see all reservations made and e-tickets purchased - whether online, through the Call Centre, or as partners' award travel.

I've mentioned this a couple of times to their Elite helpline, and they've assured me they're working on it - i.e. on restauring the old website's facilities!

P.S. Last month CM introduced new catering in their business cabin, available on all flights out of PTY. I've been on three of those so far and was really impressed with the food. Enjoy!

Can I ask..did you have to call for these bookings ? And as a matter of interest, how many miles did they require ?

The entire trip: BOS-BOG-BOS with stopover in MCO for 1 week on the way back from BOG to BOS. All in Business, Cost 70K miles.
