Well, in the end I decied that I had enough time to try all 3 C/*A lounge choices in HKG (only 15mins in each though).


SQ lounge nr gate 15 straight after security/immigration checks - in spite of the threads above, I actually liked this the most. But - it is a long time (via the train ride) from this lounge to the gates for many other *A flights. No external light, but comfy chairs, good drinks & food. Bigger than the other two.


TG lounge nr gate 60 (upstairs) - again, contrary to the threads above, I decied this is the lounge I would least like to spend time in. Food & drinks were ok, plenty of daylight, but I thought it was small/cramped (I may have just hit a busy time) and not much special.


UA RCC nr gate 60 (upstairs) - similar style to the TG lounge but a little bigger, so less cramped. Poor food choices but drinks good. In future, I would probably choose to spend the most time here. Not massively different to RCC's in USA though.


I'll try to do the same for the two F lounge choices at NRT next week. (I already did the NH C lounge @ NRT which easily beats the 3 HKG ones above, so the F lounges should be good).

There are actually 2 NH F lounges at NRT, so you can try all 3 if you really want to.

I was at UA RCC HKG several hours ago. I thought their food was quite nice. I had fried rice, grilled pork, stir-fried vegetables, and seafood soup. The fried rice didn't taste that good, but I liked everything else. The only disappointment was they did not have noodles bar there, although they had a variety of instant noodles. The lounge is spacious and have free wifi. I think most UA flight depart from gate 61, which is just a couple of min walk from the lounge.

NRT - i would say ANA lounge !

Unless there's some bizarre agreement between TG and CX... (but, why would there be? Star has at least one F lounge there, UA's IFL.)

No way you'll get into the Wing or the Pier.

Thanks for the teaching. I was confused by other posting but maybe the acces was connected to a FF Membership through CX.
