I was wondering what caterer does Philippine Airlines use on their SFO-MNL-SFO flights? What do they offer for the Kosher meal? I know that one gets two hot meals so would we get the same two hot meals?

What is the Kosher Caterer in MNL? Is the food better than the regular meal. Would I be getting more like I did on my European flights?

I like requesting a special meal for the quantity and quality. I had good meals on DL. I also like the fact being served first especially on the late night departures.

Salamat Po for your information.

PAL catering in MNL is done in-house. The PAL Inflight Center, as it is called, is also the caterer for NW/DL, KE, CI and JL. Since there are less than 500 Jews in the Philippines, I'm not sure if PAL does offer a kosher meal, but I'm pretty sure they offer a halal meal for Muslims, and I think a Hindu meal. Try calling them to verify.

Although I haven't had a PAL meal out of Manila in a very long time, their in-flight breakfast out of Cebu was delicious.

This may help a bit:

Can I order special meals?
Yes. Special meals may be requested on all Philippine Airlines international flights to cater to the various dietary requirements of passengers, for reasons of age, health or religion. Please call our reservations not later than 24 hours before your departure date to ensure its availability.
