WestJet "Passenger Perks" - YEG connect YYC to SFO

Hi, They booked me from YEG arriving YYC at 9:15a and connecting to SFO at 10:35a. Am I in trouble? :confused: I would think I would need to claim my bag and then go through US Customs with the bag and then throw it on the baggage recheck belt and I am not sure if that will be enough time. I have to check a bag due to work items so just doing carry on is not an option. Thanks!

If Westjet booked you with that connection, they must feel that the timing is okay. I just checked the website for those flights, and that is the correct connection. Just make sure you head straight to the connections belt.

I don't know about WJ, but AC's min connection time at YYC is 50 minutes for a Canada-US connection. I'd assume WJ's would be the same; you'll be fine unless your flight from YEG is late.

you'll be fine, just fine :) just don't pack anything that will get you sent to Secondary Screening at customs :P
