Airlines of India - Air India B777-200LR Economy

Hello all. Does anyone know which Economy seats have the entertainment boxes located underneath on the B777-200LR from JFK - DEL or JFK - MUM? Am trying to avoid selecting those seats that have obstructed leg room. Also, can I get advance seat assignments traveling on a discounted, published Economy fare? Thanks

The IFE boxes on the 777-200LR and 777-300ER are all new generation slimline units so you don't even notice them under the seats.

On your other question of seat allocation, I think OLCI is allowed but I think there's a time limit (24 hrs if I'm right). Also, from AI's website: E-check-in is currently available only for point to point travel on Air India, for flights out of India, New York JFK, Newark EWR, Chicago ORD, London LHR, Hongkong HKG, Nairobi NBO, Dammam DMM and Osaka KIX, Frankfurt. It is not available for through check-in or on Code-Share flights.
