Southwest Rapid Rewards - I keep getting other people's flight info

It happened when I clicked on my Ding message last week (and I mentioned it in the Ding glitch thread), and it just happened again now through the regular website. I clicked on "Book a Flight" and got someone's flight info - name, Rapid Rewards number, arrival and departure information - I sure wouldn't want my info splashed all over the internet. Has this happened to anyone else? I called SW the first time it happened, and she didn't seem to think it was a big deal "well, YOU can't print out his boarding passes" - so what!!!??? I still would not want my information out there.

Yoy might want to PM SWAVictor with this info. He might be able to trace the "leak".

Yes, this happened to me about a year ago. I clicked to pull up my reservation and it pulled up another person's reservation. I called the 214 Southwest number and they were not that concerned. They took down some information and I requested a response because I was concerned that it could happen to me. I never heard back.

I captured a screen shot and had the email address of someone that the purchaser sent an extra copy of their itinerary to. I emailed that person a few times requesting that they forward my email to the purchaser. I made it clear that I could change, cancel, etc. their reservation if I wanted to because I had all the information that I needed (assuming the credit card was in the traveler's name). I never received a response from those emails.

Please PM our friend SWAVictor with the pertinent details. It's in all our best interests to get this security breach fixed.

I don't know if I have much information to help with the problem I described above. I found the screenshot of the other person's itinerary on my computer so I can provide that to you and I know the date that it happened. I don't know which of my reservations I was trying to access when the other person's itinerary popped up. My first and last name are not at all similiar.

PM received - Just haven't yet had a chance to dig in to this one, and to get back with you . . .its next on my list to research . . but, may be some time before I have a concrete answer, as I may need to get the IT folks to dig further than I can.

That is a little scary.
