Hi all,
Apologies if this has already been posted but I'm in a rush to the airport.
Can I still earn AF FB miles on JJ (TAM) flights?
Thanks!
Quick reply: no. Only with GOL. Check it here (http://www.airfrance.us/X02/en/local/voyageurfrequent/flyingblue/fblue_gagner_aeriens.htm?BV_SessionID=keqw0lLU6Gu0 ebKOt4V1536&BV_EngineID=140ufoft8).

A correction: you can try to earn AF miles flying with Gol. Good luck while you're at it.
I've taken four flights with Gol back in May and to this day I am trying to get the correct mileage. Early this month I was able to make Flying Blue acknowledge that I had the right to earn mileage for flying Gol, but so far I haven't received the correct mileage. It's a long story, already told here, but I am getting sick and tired of AF and FB.
Just to give you another example: I've just returned today from a long distance flight with AF and while my boading pass clearly stated that I had a class Y ticket (100% mileage according to their own rules) what shows up in my statement is that I had a H class ticket (75% mileage only), which never appeared anywhere else. I am tired of fighting with them. It takes too many e-mails, faxes and phone calls. Any suggestions?

Hi arrozcomfeijao,

Although I don't want to defend AF all the way, this is quite possible. What is printed on your boarding pass is not necessary the fare class in which you booked. For example, checking in with Swiss, you usually get an M printed on your boarding pass, regardless of the fare paid.
The way to check your fare class is on the travel receipt. There should be a 6 character code for the fare.
(It does not mean that this 75% business by Flying Blue is garbage ... but the rules are what they are unfortunately)
Cheers,
