Star Alliance - Where to best start a *A C RTW?

Greetings,

there used to be a thread here somewhere (which I can't find) which showed the best (price) place to start *A RTWs....

Could some kind RTW pro give me a hint / point me in right direction (short of using the *A calculator for every country with my intended routing)?

Note, that prices have changed on 5th October and I don't think we have an updated spreadsheet yet.

There was a time in the past year when the CRTW1 out of REK was less than $4000 USD. ICN was the same. Both prices are close to double that now.

It seems NRT is the cheapest now followed by ICN--unless the fares have changed again

Fares changed in some markets 5 October. I don't think those tools have been updated yet?

Quite a few countries in Africa (Southern and East) are cheaper than Japan or Korea, at least in J.
