I booked a flight on the Orbitz website in mid-September for SEA-MKE-SEA. I received the receipt from Orbitz and didn't think much of it.

Looking at the receipt and itinerary closer on Orbitz this evening, I noticed that my return legs are First Class. When I pull up the seat map, I am only able to see First Class seats.

However, the booking code through the airline website states that all legs are Economy.

Am I wrong to expect that Orbitz honors the return legs in First Class, since the receipt, current itinerary, and seat map all agree with First Class? How should I deal with Orbitz on this?

I say just keep quiet, make your 1C seat selections for the return leg, and board the plane when your group is called. The less fuss you make, the better. You can't win anything by raising the issue, since you really did not pay for 1C.

Just my 2cents.

Most likely you booked an economy class fare that gives you an automatic upgrade to F (a "YUP" fare as it is commonly called). Book your seat in F and enjoy!

Through seat selection, I am only able to see 1st class seats. I am unable to select the 1st class seats. So I tried calling Orbitz, but have been getting a run-around. I am more interested in asking if they should be required to assign me the 1st class seat, s they will only put me in coach.
