JAL Mileage Bank - JAL Prem Econ Row 19!!

Hiya All

I have my first flight on JAL in Nov and have paid for Premium Economy. The route is LAX-NRT and I believe they only start flying this configuration of 777 aircraft on the 25 Oct.

Anyway - I wondered if any of the regular JAL fliers who may have flown 777 Prem Econ on another route could tell me something about Row 19! The reason I ask is that I have been watching the seats on my particular trip, both outbound and inbound and Row 19 has remained unoccupied, both windows and aisle!! Is there something wrong with that particular row? Is it reserved for some particular flying category? I get the option to select it but it does seem odd that the whole row has remained empty while the cabin fills up around them!

I am sure it is just a coincidence but wondered if any of you guys knew any more. I don't want to select it and then find there is no window or something like that. Seatguru does not tell me anything because it is new.

JAL blocks 19ACHK that's why no one is occupying those seats. But if you are an elite, you will be able to select those seats.

Think Iwill go for it and hope there are no more elites on the flight :D

Me neither. Chances of me meeting a fellow FTer is pretty low since I mainly fly on JL. By looking at the number of posts on JAL forum, you can guess how many FTers fly on JL :p Too bad looks like I miss both of your flights by 2 days.
