Virgin America Elevate - Upgrade Instant UG MCS to First?

I am looking at some flights and see the Instant Upgrade to MCS fares. If I buy one of those can I upgrade to F at the 24 hour window? Would it be the cost of MCS to F? Or regular coach to F for the upgrade?

if you're upgrading within 24 hours, no matter what fare class you start at, the cost would always be just that upgrade fee.

no matter which MCS fare class you're in, the fee to upgrade to FC would be the same.
