Anyway I can get KF or Indian airlines miles on either AA or United?

I am trying to put as many miles i can on AA so have been flying domestic India on Jet ... but their recent drop in service and their numerous Jet Konnect flights has turned me off of them and am flying KF DEL - BLR. Can i get those miles on any of the accounts?

Also am taking a side trip to Jammu from Delhi on IA. Can we collect those miles on any of US airlines?

I believe the answer to your question is no, however you can earn DL or CO miles using KF. Air India / Indian Airlines is SQ only, I believe.

I do actually have a question for you - do "Jet Airways - Operated by Jet Lite" flights, with a Jet code, earn AA miles? I know regular Jet flights do, but Jet Lite flights are a little different, I think.

thanks for the response.

Unfortunately I dont know the answer to your question. I have never flown Jetlite or Konnect and dont have a wish to fly either.

If I were to guess I would say that it should ... since their systems would have been merged.... but thats pure speculation.

sorry

The IC flights will be eligible for miles on UA only in 2010 when they become part of Star.

See also the nearby thread in this forum re: "9W New FF Partner -- DL". AA's site now clarifies the Jet relationship: you can earn and redeem AA miles on Jet and JetKonnect, but not on JetLite ( a "whole owned subsidiary" as the AA writer so charmingly mis-words it).

CO/DL for IT; SQ/LH for IC (maybe - AI works for LH)
