Other Asian, Australian and South Pacific Frequent Flyer Programs - How earyl for SFO to Taipei flight?

How early do I need to arrive at SFO (I'm going to BART in so no parking) for the 1:30 a.m. EVA flight from SFO to Taipei? Is 3 hours ahead of time about right? Flight leaves on Oct. 23.

I usaully arrive beetween 2-3 hours before. Usually closer to 2 hours before just so I dont worry. Techniqally the check in cutoff time is 45 minutes before takeoff.

The counter opens between 945PM and 1000PM. Usually a line starts to form around 930PM. Three hours is fine, especially if you already have a seat reserved that you don't want to change.

It depends on your booking class. If you are in Economy, i would be there min 2 hours before because the line does get long at the counter. I think 3 hours would be way too early.

they have huge lines at this check in and they arrive early so arriving late is better as long as you have checked in on line

I'm flying this Friday in business class on SFO-TPE. Do you guys know if the seats have power sockets? I have some work to do onboard. I know it's the older 747 but I'm really hoping that there are power sockets in the seats.

I was on older 747 in Nov last year and they needed special adaptors which they had none on board

There's no power sockets on the old business seats. Bring extra batteries.
