Hi,

I am ready to book my DONE3 ex-cgk, but am unfamiliar with the process of booking. Can anyone tell me the process.

I think it involves:

1. Calling the RTW desk and sorting out the itinery.
2. Contacting AA in cgk, exchange CC details, and have payment finalised.
3. Receive ticket.

I am clear on step 1, but don't really understand step 2. Can someone tell me the details of this step, and of experiences in the past.

Also, if a ticket is purchased in this way, is it issued as a paper ticket, or as an eticket.

Thanks for your help..

I can't speak for CGK, but when I have used AA's GSA in MNL they have required physical sight of the credit to make the purchase. Elesewhere in the world in the past I have got them to accept faxed or scanned and emailed copies of the card. But I think you are quite unlikely indeed to be able simply to give them a CC number over the phone to do this. Wire transfers are also a possibility with some GSAs.

I have done my last couple of OWE through the web site and have been charged price in local currency.. Easy and credit card accepted over the net without personal appearance necessary....

I know I can do it using the online booking tool, but it keeps trying to book through Qantas, even though there aren't any Qantas segments on the book. As a result, the fuel surcharges are quite high.
