Agree, these are amazing high prices.
If you convert #100K miles that you might reach in a year (being FAP) with an helmet or a trolley .. is like exchanging a max of €200 with a BIZ interconinental flight award...:rolleyes:

You really have to be someone who doesn't want to travel for leisure with your miles..

Have to say that with AZ it is harder to "use" milies than with say BA

Why?

Because you can't book J over internet and vitually all economy cash paid bookings are non miles upgradeable as you need to book a full Y fare (or close to it) which makes the whole upgrading with miles concept pointless
