This hotel is part of the Honeysuckle Wharf development area in Central Newcastle.
In my opinion this hotel is probably about the best Newcastle has to offer. The rooms are very spacious and the harbour facing ones have great views of Newcastle Harbour. Our suite was well appointed, although the lack of a bath was disappointing. Otherwise, it couldn't be faulted.
Service wise, the hotel was a little spotty. I should say that almost all the star rated hotels I have stayed in have been in Asia, so maybe I'm used to a different level/kind of service. The staff were friendly enough, but they just seemed a little slap-dash (I'm Australian so I don't think it was a cultural issue for me).
