Hertz - Hertz at LAX

Hi folks
Can someone tell me how far it is from Terminal 2 to Hertz, 1.5 - 2 miles?
What is the simplest way to get from one to the other, is there a shuttle of some sort?

Welcome to FT :). When you come out of your terminal, go to the kerb side space for rental cars (Hertz) and wait for the shuttle bus. It's pretty straightforward.

Especially since the shuttle bus will have "HERTZ" in large letters on its side.

At airports using rental company supplied shuttle buses, they all look identical to the individual company's buses elsewhere. So for instance, the Hertz bus at LGA looks identical to the one at MIA. The Avis bus at O'Hare looks exactly like the Avis bus at JFK, etc.

I've taken to renting from the LAX Hilton HLE when I fly into LAX in order to avoid LAWA's $10 user fee.

There only caveats that I can see are that the shuttles are a bit less frequent, and the selection of cars is less interesting (with no Prestige lineup).
