Flew AA award to Geneva from New York. No more London stopover allowed. Had to give another 10,000 miles for that; total of 70,000. Connection with with BA. hope all the pictures come out. Have never done this.

Meal on AA was good. Entertainment not so good. Seats comfortable.

No pics of BA but service was great. No more meals after September 1st on flights under 2 1/2 hours.

Flight from Geneva to Olbia, Sardinia was on Easyjet. Paid $187 roundtrip instead of $500 on Brussels Airlines charter. Everything ws great except for open seating if you don't want to pay an extra $10 for a reserved seat.

Here are some pictures of take off and landing.

Costa Smeralda was nice with beautiful beaches. But water was much too cold. and it's very expensive; a rip off. Here are some pictures.

The white house is the Queen of England's house in St. Rafael.

Thanks for a good report!

But:

Quote:
"Meal on AA was good."

By the looks of it I'll have to characterize it as less than appetizing..?

LOL it actually tasted better than what it looked like.

I don't like salad as a starter but unfortunately all US airlines serve it. LX also with just leaves and not even a tomato.

The tiny oat raisin brownie looked awful but tasted great and it was very rich so filling. The chicken and mushroom was good. For the first time, they actually served "cheese." which was exciting and a major improvement. I was in awe when I saw the cheese. It was a cheapo cheese but better than nothing. NOt as good as the cheese on AF.

The meals from London are better.
