I have stayed at Travelodge (UK) a number of times, often in the same trip that I stayed at a Hilton or Millennium. They are def basic no-frills hotels, but I've found them to be pretty consistent and clean. When all you need is a clean bed and a shower, they serve the purpose quite well.

I can't find the space to enter "promo code" on their website.

Or this code is applied to call only?

I worked through a booking just now to check and there is a "discount code" on the booking page (after you've selected the room and extras). I believe you enter the promo code there.

Thanks for the link, and hope it works for some people. Alas there are per hotel determined date restrictions which means I can't.

Yeah, nothing wrong with these properties -- if all you want is a clean. basic place to stay for a night. I've done it on some of their crazy sales, when there was no better alternative.
