Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles - Beware of the Republic Painted E-170s

I flew on one last week, MKE-BOS. I was looking forward to my window seat but for some reason the white painted E-170 seat rows were ACDF instead of the usual ABCD. So everyone expect seat A was changed around and I lost my window seat. I think those Republic planes must swap out for United flying which have the ACDF seating.

I hit one today these E170's on the 7:35am flight to Boston today...Only this was a slightly different issue to kannon's...This plane had the "republic" paint job and the seats were "A,B,C,D", but it had 2 rows of "Business Class", which was 1x2 seating...The gate agent called several people up to re-seat them and they left the 6 seats completely empty...guess they didnt want to upgrade the MME's that were on the flight.
The one with 6 seats of First/Business is in a United Configuration. The one with no First/Business is a US Airways configuration.

I've seen the same thing as blucys - I was seated just behind those United Business class seats and wondered why they were all empty. I joked with the flight attendant that maybe I should move up there, but she (like all of the Republic attendants I've encountered) didn't see the humor.
