Unless I am mistaken, no. No champagne in Affaires, either.

Hi adamsto,

I think it also depends on if you're flying on an AF subsidiary.

CityJet serves muffins on their morning flights to/from DUB-CDG in Y and usually the FA's walk the cabin twice with a second serving. Have only been served pain au chocolat once as far as I remember...

hi:)
we are flying with "main" company , so "clear AF" :)

on reservation there is info, that "breakfast" will be served , but we don;t know is it a chocolate bar :)

and on AF website there is info abut free wine and beer, so again a bit confused ;):p

The content of the drinks cart depends on time of day. So while there may be free wine/beer later in the day, the morning cart typically just contains juice, coffee, tea and water (and coke I think but I'm not sure). Not even sparkling water.

Cheers,

Plus hot chocolate too, last time I was on a morning flight to CDG anyway. I think it was Valrhona...

Hot chocolate yes, but the rest is unduly optimistic. On short mainline AF breakfast flights in voyageur, the drinks offered are coffee, tea, chocolate, and still water. Full stop. No juice (it is offered on some subsidiaries like cityjet), and certainly no coke, let alone wines or champagne. Even the selection in business at breakfast time is very minimal.

Wines & Champagne would be quite unusual at breakfast in French culture.

On flights which are scheduled for 2h30 (although the actual flight time is lower), such as LIS-CDG, a slightly better breakfast is offered. The available drinks, however, are the same.

They would be indeed (although I don't mind a glass of champagne with a nice breakfast myself!) but orange juice (or for that matter grapefruit or apple) would certainly not be extravagant I should think.
