I was looking at the links, but I couldn't find a recent update to this question. On a 1 cabin regional flight on UA Express, am I booked into Y, M, or something else when on a CRTW?

I was looking at the links, but I couldn't find a recent update to this question. On a 1 cabin regional flight on UA Express, am I booked into Y, M, or something else when on a CRTW?
You will be booked in Y. If travelling on a YRWSTAR, it will be M.

Currently the rule is exactly the same on US.

Here is the rule:
If A is not available book D, if D is not available book A. Provided that only first and economy cabin offered on the flight, if D/A not available book Y.
If you'd follow this to the letter than it should be in M because Y can only be booked on a plane where first and economy are offered.
But I guess this is not really how the rule was meant to be interpreted so this is why the booking class for the OP will be Y.

So you can book into A if available on FRWSTARx, or on 2-class flights where the higher class sold is first when on CRWSTARx (on 3-class flights if D is unavailable you get Y).
It doesn't matter if the booking class is unavailable because it doesn't exist or because it is sold out, if you are on FRWSTARx or CRWSTARx then you'd get Y booking class.

Now this change in punctuation from last year to this year makes all the difference in the world.
