Whenever I fly this route on the afternoon Embraer flight the landing is always really "weird". Lot's of G-forces on approach, that feeling of it dropping too quickly, lots of acceleration and a hard landing.

Yesterday the landing was so hard that my backside is still sore today. The captain said something in French on the PA about 30s before touchdown.

As I have not flown the KLC Embraer's or any other I don't know if this is just normal of this aircraft type. I could have just flown on days with bad landing conditions.

I'm not a nervous flyer and I've flown over 100 times this year but these MAN landings are always "something". (Not that the weather is ever that great there!)

It's an Embraer thing - I've flown a few routes on different airlines, sitting down the back often has a kind of roller coaster feel (up front is normally ok) and engineregime changes a lot.

Never have lunch before flying on an Air Europa Embraer....

You should try them on an ABZ approach then!

I flown the Embraer albeit with Copa bewteen Cartagena and Panama and out of forty odd flights I never experienced a smooth landing yet.
The scary part is the approach to CTG...the engines would literally idle down, she would drop like a brick and whoosh!..the engines would thrust and you accelerated onto the runway with an almighty bang.

Apart from the weird landings, its an excellent aircraft!

I like the E-Jet's too. Nice 2-2 seating is always a bonus, my bag *just* fits in the bin and quite a large bathroom considering. Shame they don't always want to load the water.
