Just saw a report over on ANet that a fleet wide livery change will be announced in Orlando this upcoming Tuesday. Not that I think they need it.

Wow. Any speculation?

It is more than just the new tail - which I happen to really enjoy (http://www.wanderingaramean.com/2009/10/jetblue-unveils-new-plane-livery.html). It is the whole livery. The logo on the side of the plane is much larger.

Did VictorCharlieTen beat you both to the announcement? :)

I love the tail; although, I think the fuselage could definitely use a little more. While I am already a fan of the current classic/timeless livery, I would not consider making an enlargement of the logo anything major.

sbm12 - In your blog you mention it is curves rather than linear...let's not forget the bubbles tails (off the top of my head, I believe starting at # 558) as well as Blue 100 :)

And I'm looking through my collection of photos from last month and see a whole bunch of linear-ish patterns but I don't see "bubbles" so I suppose that is why I didn't realize there is already one out there. I still like the new one. :p

Is the whole fleet going to be painted the same?

Yeah, the tail is nice but who is this "team member" and when can I fly with her?

From the press release (http://investor.jetblue.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=131045&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1341938&highlight=):
All future livery refresh cycles will convert the fuselage logo to the new JetBlue logo. The new Blueberries paint scheme will be scheduled into the airline's current paint-refresh timeline. JetBlue expects to have five aircraft painted in the new Blueberries livery by year end.

Just only for 5 aircraft to be repainted new livery scheme and that's all?

No. There will be 5 by the end of the year. More will come after that as they go in for maintenance and repainting.
