Title says it all -- I have a regular, non-affinity Chase Visa. The webpage makes some vague reference to "awards" or "benefits" but then the link is dead. Anyway to get points/awards with this card?

Title says it all -- I have a regular, non-affinity Chase Visa. The webpage makes some vague reference to "awards" or "benefits" but then the link is dead. Anyway to get points/awards with this card?
You need to call Chase to find out.
Or, log in your Chase online account - if your card has any reward program associated with it, there should be a button for reward right on the summary page - kind of at the bottom of the card information display.
Another thing is, Chase has revamped / changed its reward programs very often in past year - some accounts are grandfathered some are not. So there is no telling other then either calling Chase or check it online for your own card.

When you contact Chase it may be helpful to remember that in credit-card-speak "rewards" are not the same as "benefits". Typically, rewards are quantitative and linked to the amount you spend, while benefits are qualitative and bundled with the card.

What does the card say on the front? You can then look at the Chase site and see what points (if any) you get with the card. Here are a couple of pages on what Chase currently has.

It says nothing other than "Chase" and "Visa." Sorry. Not seeing much that doesn't dead end on the account page when I log in.
"Chase Bank" is the issuer listed on the back.

If you dont see any "Reward" button on your account summary page when you log in, chances are, your card is not a reward type credit card - meaning you do not earn any reward by spending.
The only way to find out for sure is to call the customer service number at the back of your card to find out if your card is associated with any reward program Chase has, and whether spending on your card would earn you anything.
