Star Alliance - Spanair long haul

Has anyone recently travelled any long sectors in biz-class on Spanair?

I am contemplating MAD/BCN to ARN and was wondering what to expect/experience on a 3+HR flight.

JK don't fly any long-haul flights since just after 9/11.

Their European flights are fine and typical European BC: 3x3 with the middle seat blocked, newspaper, decent catering. The product is pretty much indistiguishable from SK IME, though you'll get Spanish food and avoid the nasty cold fish that seems to always be on flights to Scandinavia on SAS.

The lounge in BCN is spectacular, the one in MAD is new and very nice.

JK has a flight to Banjul from MAD & BCN, wich is the longest destination they fly (regular, charter they used to fly to CAI and IST as well)
