Swiss International Airlines - Ticketing Issues with LX

I booked a flight with LX (on the website) two days ago and the ticket has not been issued yet.
When phoning their local number you get to speak to people who make seem the LH Cape Town call centre being run by highly trained and qualified employees.
The last excuse I have heard is that LX generally takes three days to issue a ticket. Never heard about that one before and I have never, ever waited for longer than 30 minutes for the e-ticket to arrive in my in-box before.
Before that I heard the excuse that I would have to fill in a credit card authorisation form which was then retracted because a SEN (I suppose a HON neither) doesn't have to do this...
Is that a new (rather annoying) procedure that LX needs three days to issue a ticket? Any experiences in that regard?

What is your point of sale? And how much into the future is your departure? These two factors play a role in how your online booking request gets treated I believe.
I have noticed that when you buy a ticket on LX within Europe to any european destination you get the ticket receipt in your inbox within 30 minutes.
However, it is always get LX longer to issue international tickets issued outside of Europe.

POS is South Africa booked through Swiss.com (with German settings - there is no SA site) for a CPT-JNB-ZRH-AMS flight in January 2010 in C. However, I have booked multiple tickets through this site before and I have never had to wait for more than maybe 60 minutes.
I want to upgrade the JNB-ZRH vv flight by using my e-vouchers but I am unable to do so right now as there is no ticket number or any other locator which M&M could use to actually retrieve the booking.
Anyway, most shocking is the blatant "I couldn't care less" attitude and their obvious lack of knowledge oat the Swiss call centre I got through to (unfriendly as well, btw). I have always thought that you couldn't top the LH CPT centre in that regard but I learned that it is possible.
The connecting flight CPT-JNB vv is a codeshare on SA and I am quite sure that SA will have that booking auto-canceled once 72 hours are gone after booking which is not that far away anymore.
If I don't have the ticket number within the next 24 hours I will just cancel the booking and rebook on BA - if that's what they want....

Finally, Swiss sorted it out with the help of a very friendly and more than capable lady at the LX-HON centre (these idiots at the LX reservation line even gave me the HON number when I asked for the SEN number in Switzerland which I did not realise until we were more or less done with the stuff). However, the staff at the HON-line helped me out without a problem.
Booked another two tickets with Swiss today and within 2 minutes I had the confirmation and the ticket-number (one via the LX-site and a reward ticket via the HON line - I must admit that I took advantage of getting hold of such a wonderful person).
