Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific - Campervan in Tasmania

Hi everyone

I have a campervan rented and will be arriving in Davenport with it Saturday morning. I have to return it to Hobart Sunday afternoon.

Any ideas on where to camp Saturday night, and what kind of places I can see in the campervan during that short time? I have never been to Tasmania before. I am staying in Hobart a couple days after I return the van so I don't need to stay close to there Saturday night.

As an ex Tasmanian i would suggest driving along the east coast of tasmania to Hobart. A good place for a stop would be either Coles Bay (which has some incredible beaches), Bicheno or Swansea. It would depend what time you needed to reach Hobart by on the Sunday as to how far you wanted to have left to drive on the Sunday.
