Virgin America Elevate - VA adds fully refundable Main Cabin fares, discounted upgrade to Main Cabin Select

Received this in email at 7pm PDT tonight:

In addition to our lowest Main Cabin and First Class fares, we’ve expanded our fare options to give you more choice and flexibility when you travel. We now offer fully refundable fares in our Main Cabin and Main Cabin Select. These fare options also allow you to make changes to your flights and check a bag for free. We also offer Instant Upgrade to Main Cabin Select, which allows you to get a premium seat at a lower fare.

From what I can work out on the booking site, it seems that the $50 change fee applies to Main Cabin Lowest and Instant Upgrade (the cheapest two fares); the change fee is waived for Main Cabin Refundable and Select.

Not sure what to do with this but I figured I'd share in case it hasn't gone out to everyone yet.

Agreed, all though to me, they might as well be.

And even back then, the only thing new was the "instant upgrade" to MCS, and the fact that the fully refundable fares could now be booked online. They have been available for over a year, but not online.
