Given recent changes to my travel plans, it looks like I'll be just under 5K short of re-qualifying for *G (via TG's ROP) by the end of the year.
I have recently moved to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (DAR) and let's just say that there don't seem to be many attractive MR opportunities from here on *A carriers...though if anyone has any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them.
But if that's too hard, here's an easier challenge: I'll be in the LAX area from mid-Dec on. Can anyone point me to an easy, quick and (ideally) cheap MR from LAX on a *A carrier? I need at least 5K in EQMs, and would like to do a one-day MR (red-eye one way is OK, though not preferred) during, say, Dec 15-17. I'm trying to avoid the northeast (BOS, JFK, etc) at that time of year, in order to minimize any weather-related problems.
