SAS EuroBonus - OT: BMA - A terrific airport!!

Just returned from a business trip and used Malmö Aviation for a change, obviously from Bromma airport in Stockholm.
Main reason was actually to save time as both my home and the office are literally minutes away (outside rushhour at least).

I have to say what a great airport BMA has become. From being an old worn airport a few years ago the terminal is now absolutely spotless.
There is even a proper transit area now with a bar and a large tax-free shop.
The airport has always been efficient, but there have never been so many facilities available for passengers.

Now to the SAS forum connection.
At BMA there is in fact a business/gold check-in desk mostly used by SN on the daily flights to Brussels. However I noticed by a coincidence the signs of eligible passengers now also include the status levels of LH M&M (FTL and SEN).
Since LH is taking over the SN bonus program, does anyone know if there is a plan for SN to join Star Alliance?
Would be absolutely wonderful to use SN out of BMA and earn points and get all the *G benefits at the same time (there is even a lounge at BMA).
Anyone knows?

Absolutely, that would be fantastic! But being able to fly BMA-BRU-(Europe/US/Asia) on *A/SN is not all that bad either.

Jokes aside BMA is truly great, especially after the recent refurbishment.

If they get SN flights to some real hubs after joining * I’d have no reason what so ever visiting ARN again.

I just saw a post in the LH M&M forum that the official joining date is Deceber 9th.

Well I wonder if they will still allow SN to use it. Must be really strange for the Malmö Aviation staff to give people access with EBG-cards.

A fotnote, there has been massive problems during Ramadan on BMA...the teaxidrivers stay up all night and then arrive to late to pick people up. I have had lots of fellow workers that had to wait up to 45 minutes for their pre-ordered taxi..

Ramadan is over now but I hope they dont do the same next year cause it will damage the airports reputation.
