Asia - Taipei City Airport (Sung Shan) International Departures

Has anyone had any experience departing on international flights from Taipei's Sung Shan airport? I am thinking there must be some sort of exit customs facility at the airport but it has been a while since I've been to that airport... Definitely easier to get to from Taipei city then traveling to Taoyuan Intl...

haven't yet exit thru Shungshan myself, but I use this airport quite a lot for domestic purposes.THere is a seperate exit gate for international flights,right ahead of one's path on the second floor instead of on the right, which is the domestic gate.
Transasia has some pretty good timings, and the air fare is quite a bit cheaper than departures from Taoyuan.One gets to fly in a smaller planes though and have to share the lounge with domestic travellers.
