With the news that TA and AV are going to merge

I guess this probably takes TA off the *A radar as AV have said publicly quite recently that they are more interested in bilateral alliances with individual airlines rather than membership of a global alliance .

In any case , if AV were to go with a global alliance they seem more likely to go with Skyteam due to strong relationship with DL .
In that case I would think that CM has just become a lot more attractive to *A . My question would be , if *A decided to fasttrack a membership for CM how quickly do you think it could be achieved bearing in mind that CM is very closely integrated into COs systems ? I would have thought that a lot of the necessary work has already been done with CO becoming "*A ready".
