What's interesting to note, is that though 9W has a great partnership going with the Singapore Tourism Board, they don't have a tie up (yet?) with SQ. I heard they were planning something in 2006 or 2007 but that the proposal had fallen through. The only other incentive (and passenger benefit) for this deal that I can see as regards the current thread (AI with SQ) is that SQ is already in *A and AI expects to enter in 2010.

You mean you dont know about the feud between 9W (Goyal specifically) and SQ? Search old FT history or google.

yes it is but is it still going on? I am not flying SQ much nowadays as they are so much higher than 9W, hard to justify in this financial environment...though with my recent 9W experiences, I think I might go back to SQ...
