No, only codeshares and all with stop-over (AFAIK)

I suggest you fly SQ to Tokyo Narita and connect to an Air Canada flight which flies direct to YVR.

Why such a sarcastic tone?

Never ever to YVR. SEA was the nearest port. The only service to Canada was to YYZ (with a A310 or A300 based at SEA alternating to EWR).

I did SIN-HKG-YVR-HKG-SIN not long ago.

And well , I guess I'll have to stay put to CX.

Everything is open to interpretation...

I am certain that response was not meant to sound sarcastic...

Cheers,

Well, my response was not exactly warm, was it? It was just a fact that I wrote in a hurry. So when you thanked me for a "warm" response, I did intrpret your response as being sarcastic... But I agree, it depends on ones interpretation :p

You could also connect in ICN on KE, or NRT on JL. I personally do not like the loooonnnggg 11 hr journey between HKG and YVR.

Its 12 actually.

And return is 14, But now they uses a 34B and 77A (fitted with new long-haul products) to operate between HKG and YVR.

So , i might reconsider flying with them again.
