Moderators please move this message if there is a more appropriate forum. although I browse Flyertalk fairly frequently, I only normally read the AMEX, NWA, and Delta forums, so I am not sure where these types of questions are normally discussed.

I am a Delta Reserve card holder, so I thought I would check to see if there is anyway that AMEX and the members of Flyertalk can help me out on my quest for a unique meeting setting.

I have last minute plans to meet an important client in Toledo. We're both driving and Toledo is half way for both of us.

We're meeting mid-afternoon and are going to talk serious business for an hour or two. After that it will most likely turn into dinner and drinks for the evening.

I'll be getting a hotel in Toledo, but I am not sure if my client is headed out the same night or staying overnight.

As I said, we will most likely end up having dinner and drinks later on in the evening, so I want to avoid having the initial meeting at a restaurant or lounge. I would also like to avoid meeting in a hotel lobby.

I'm open for creative suggestions.

Thanks

They are not especially exciting looking, but Regus has offices (and conference rooms) near Toledo that you could rent for just a couple of hours. LINK (http://www.regus.com/locations/US/OH/Maumee/OhioToledoArrowheadParkofMaumee.htm?product=office s)

If you can find a member to guest you in the Toledo Club

is a pretty classy place that had a fine chef some years ago

Maybe some F/T might belong or know someone that does

This will probably get better answers in the Midwest Forum.
