Star Alliance - Best airline for B class BOS BUD?

I have to book this flight by midnight tonight!

I'm going to Budapest from Boston on Oct 20 using Star Alliance; returning from Prague 3 wks later. Who has the best customer service in B class? Do any of the carriers have flat seats? Which aircraft should I look for?

I haven't flown to Europe in years and am looking for a relaxing ride! Suggestions for routings/airlines most appreciated. (Seats on LH and LX seem to be plentiful.)

Is none of the above a viable option? In C, (what you call B), I would not fly LX or LH, but any other option will require a double-connect. If you're willing to couble connect, I think I'd do LX C through LGA//JFK and ZRH, UA C through IAD and ZRH/MUC/FRA, or AC C through YYZ and FRA, in that order. Really, I'd just skip flying with Star and would fly BA - but if that's not an option, okay. Also, if a double connect is not an option and you put a gun to my head, LX C > LH C, but they both suck.

I had to book this by last night, and ended up booking LH all the way, connecting in MUC. I'd done enough reading to know I wasn't excited about my options...

My miles were with USAir because a year ago I was thinking of traveling with a friend who had miles with them. I booked a travel package with Marriott points, moved the points over and then never used them. I'm actually appalled at the alliance, especially in S. America, which is where I wanted to go on this trip. I tried to book space on AC or UA to Buenos Aires, but there was nothing.

Anyway, 3 wks in Budapest, Vienna and Prague should make whatever unpleasantness I might experience on the way over or back fade into the background!

MUC is a very nice airport to connect, also LH C is not too bad. If you are used to domestic F in the US you will be ok.

If you just write "B" class without stating the word "Business", people are to assume you want a booking class in "B" which is still economy.
