Swiss International Airlines - JNB - ZRH - FRA on a tight connection

Hi,
Anybody know whether or not there are a normally lot of delays on the JNB-ZRH connection (LX289)?
In two weeks I'll be arriving in ZRH from JNB at approx. 06:10 and my connecting LH flight to FRA leaves at 06:55.
I had checked with LX and LH that I can have my luggage automatically transferred when I mention this in JNB. (Alternative mentioned by Swiss: leave the luggage on the belt and pick it up in the evening at Lost and Found, since I will be returning to ZRH in the evening :D)
Minimum time for transfer at ZRH officially it said to be 40 min. So, my 45 min. would be tight, but ok.
Does anybody have experience with this?
Thanks!
Two weeks ago I took the same flight JNB to ZRH but with an onward connection to London City Airport with a flight that leaves ZRH at 7 am.
Everything worked fine for me and I got to the gate with plenty of time to wait there for boarding. However, I did not have to go through passport control as it is the case with FRA.
Don't worry ZRH is very small and effecient airport.

Thanks!
Actually I know ZRH pretty well, since I am there just about every week a few times. But I rarely fly intercontinental (sadly).
Why should there be a passport control for FRA where there is none for LCY?
Because I enter the Schengen area in ZRH?
I expect the controls in the transfer area to be pretty quick (I hope):p
Thanks again!

Hi SuperVoid, when ever I flew LX289 I was on-time.
Actually 2 of 3 times we were to early - no plane is allowed to touch ground ZRH before 6:00am - so we looped over southern Germany - must be some sort of Swiss' revenge for the limitation of slots ;)
I did LX289 -> LX1574 a 3 of times since last Sept. It is a 60 min connection. On all of my 3 trips I had time to take a coffee in the Swiss SEN Lounge. So I think if you spare that you can do it.
The immigration queues should be pretty short - as LX289 is one of the first coming in. LX will tell you latest on approach if your connection is granted.
You can check your luggage through - it worked on all my trips via ZRH not only the JNB outbound ones. I have no experience with Lost & Found in ZRH ... but at other places. Let me put it this way: at least I would feel more confident not doing that ;)
Cheers

Sure, I too was a little  when Swiss suggested this...
Thanks for the comments

I flew this route in April and they held us at JNB to avoid an early arrival at ZRH - we touched down at 0601h in the end!

LX289 usually leaves JNB a few minutes (15 to 30 minutes late) but always arrives on time. A 60 minute transfer time is more than sufficient (including as mentioned a cup of coffee in the lounge).
I can honestly not recount how often I have flown this route but the plane has only been late once (which was due to a cancellation of the incoming flight).

Thanks for the input! ^^
Good to know that this connection is feasible:)
