Flying Blue (Air France & KLM) - Do NWA flights ever credit automatically without having to send BPs to FB?

Have flown about 6 NWA sectors this year (5 upgrades - not a bad record for a mere silver at the time) and not once have I got miles automatically. I usually leave it a fortnight and then go through the rigmarole of sending BPs to France.

Flew 2 sectors with them over a week ago and still no sign of the miles.

I need those sectors to confirm my Gold Status and next AF flight is 4 weeks away. To wait and hope they miraculously credit or mail now?

I never have a problem, they usually post in 1 or 2 days. Your number is obviously recorded properly as you are getting the upgrades.

Just had 4 NW segments post within 2-3 days of flying. I've never had to request manual crediting for any of my NW segments.

it's generally OK (automatic credit) but recently, I had an itinerary with 2 connections inbound and outbound (so 6 flights as a whole, on the same itinerary on AF/DL & NW) and I had to claim retrocredit for 2 of these 6 flights. I had to send the BP to FB and was credited 2 days later^

95+% credit automatically.

Sent in the BPs and got the miles. OH and mine in the envelope, he's plat and I was officially still a silver (making gold with these sectors)...he got his miles 2 days before mine!!

Took another two days for the website to recognise me as Gold rather than silver despite my 30 sectors but am there at last...another 4 this year then we'll see what happens next year!
