Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles - Redeeming miles for a car rental?

I didn't find any results in a search. Have any of you had experience redeeming Midwest Miles for car rentals? I see I can get an Avis free day for 7500, but it says very little about the terms. It says "Not available in New York metro area." but doesn't say if it's only good in the US. I suspect they are limited, but am hoping they are good worldwide.

Used it many times over the years without any issues, however I've never used it overseas.
