Other Credit Card Programs - Macy's card has a finance charge of 225%

My wife opened one to get the new acct savings and the statement says that if the full bal is not paid by the due date the rate is 225% . Is this common? I thought rates were like 30%. Just curious.

I imagine this is a typographical error, and means 22.5%, unless they are annualizing some type of flat fee.

Its the Macy's store card. I guess its a typo, scary one though.
