Korean Air Skypass - Will I Have Time to Use KE Lounge @ INC?

Will arrive on Korean Air #20 from Seattle at 5:35 PM on 29 Oct. Depart on Korean Air #681 for SGN at 7:10 PM. Traveling in Business. Will I have time to have a good look at Business Class Lounge at INC during that interim time period? I'm really hoping so as it may be my only opportunity to do so. Are there any other lounges I'll have access to while there? Can I get in AF lounge? Am returning Nov. 02 on NW via NRT. Is there anything of particular note in the lounge to partake?

You should have time to stop by a lounge unless your flight is delayed. Even when the transit time is only one hour, I usually have time to check e-mail in the lounge. You get free wifi there. Boarding time is usually 30 min before departure at ICN. I am not sure if they have AF lounge at ICN. I have never seen one. I prefer OZ lounge because of the cozy ambience with a piano in the middle of the lounge. I use my Priority Pass to enter OZ lounge.

Thank you, Kats, that is useful information. What is OZ? Would I have access to it? Since I am also AA Platinum, do you know if I could get in the Cathay or Japan Air lounges even though I have been ticketed by DL?

First off, the airport code for Seoul Incheon is ICN.

Second, OZ is Asiana, which you have no access...

Yes, you will have more than sufficient time to visit the KE lounge, which is quite nice. I actually KE J lounge has slightly better catering than OZ J lounge at ICN. KE lounge is catered by Hyatt Regency Incheon.

No, you can't access the CX or JL or indeed all foreign airlines lounge, as all foreign airlines are using the newly opened Concourse A, which require a ride on an underground train. You cannot access to Concourse A without the correct boarding pass and/or e-tickets. So the answer is no.

I don't think there is an AF lounge... AF uses the "Korean Air" operated lounge over at Concourse A, which you will not have access anyway.

If you happen to have Priority Pass, you have access to almost all lounges at ICN including a restaurant of the transit hotel inside the terminal bldg.

You'll be able to check out the new lounge when you return on NW. The food is the same. I like the new clean rather spare decor

I actually did like the new Delta lounge near gate 25 at NRT. I thought their food was nice, at least better than UA with sushi rolls, fried chicken, sandwiches, etc. I would not waste time checking out KE lounge at NRT.

AF Lounge at NRT only opens around the departure times of their twice daily flights to Paris. One should be an early afternoon departure and the other one is a late night departure.

NW/DL Sky Clubs are quite nice at Narita, so you should be fine. KE lounge at NRT is not that impressive. Sky Clubs have nice hot soups, canapes, sushi rolls and snacks...

Without any bias, KE's Business Lounge has a lot better food than OZ's Business Lounge. Talk about the food selections.

This is correct. There is no AF lounge. AF uses KE's Business Lounge in Concourse A.

IMHO, AF lounge in NRT is inferior to the NW WC lounge, but who knows what the status is after DL.
