Emirates Airlines Skywards - Use Star Alliance Gold for lounge

I know Emirates partners wiht UA. Can I use my UA *Gold for loung access (flying Y) at Dubai ?

If you are flying on a star alliance carrier into DXB, you can of course use the star alliance lounge.
If you are on EK, you can not use the star alliance lounge and not the Emirates lounges (you must be at least silver with Skywards).

I think if one of us had put, can we use Skywards Gold Card in Star Alliance lounges when not flying on SA stock,in the Star Alliance forum, we would have had 100 no's by now..............
