Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Websites for hotels

Has anyone had any positive/negative experiences with lastminutetravel.com

We are going to Tampa this week. I have figured out lastminutetravel.com has the Intercontinental at a great price. I have not figured out which hotel is on Hotwire.com near Tampa Airport/Westshore. Does anyone know?

Any advice on getting a great deal for tuesday night in tampa near airport.

negative - lmt never has had any availability for their advertised specials when I tried to book them.

The Hotwire list for Florida at Betterbidding.com does list the IC as a 4* hotel in the Westshore zone, however, there are two other 4* hotels in the same zone:

I noticed earlier today on BFT that several bidders got the IC - Tampa - for bids as low as $44 (one was $50). These bids were for October 10 or thereabouts (one was for a December date). This doesn't answer your question but might suggest what $$$ to spend.


(This puts me well over 150!)

FYI, booked at Hotwire and got the IC for $75, tax included.
Staying there on Tues night....
