Hi,

In Vaasa, Finland right now and were supposed to fly home to Stockholm departing 13.15 via Helsinki.

The schedule looked like this from the beginning.
VAA-HEL @ 13.15
HEL-ARN @ 15.00

Now its
VAA-HEL @ 15.00
HEL-ARN @ 18.00

Do i have the right to demand anything?
I would like to get something to eat at Helsinki airport.

This is my second delayed flight this week with Blue1. The last time was HEL-ARN in monday when the flight were 1h 30 min delayed.

I think the departing flights must be more than 2 hours delayed to get compensation. But it's worth a try in Helsinki to get some food coupons. They are usually just a few euros so don't expect to get a full meal withoud adding some money on your own.

When I worked at the airpor handling SK-flight it was like 8-9 euros after 2 hours. Cancellation adn rebooking might be done free of charge if flight was delayed 5 hours or more.

I believe it's based on the length of the flight and the amount of the delay. They used to have a nice handy flyer which explained it clearly, like flight length and when you are entitled to compensation.

But now it's hard to find and not very clear at all: http://apr.europa.eu

Our EU money hard at work... making a website that is difficult to navigate and unclear. Note this URL is referenced on leaflets given to passengers, but doesn't seem very end-user friendly to me.
